Titanic expedition shows off some crisp new images

(AP) An expedition surveying the wreck of the Titanic is showing off some crisp images of the world's most famous shipwreck, but officials said Sunday they are headed back to shore. Officials from Expedition Titanic said in a statement they are now headed back to Newfoundland because high seas and winds brought on by hurricane Danielle are preventing researchers from carrying out their work.  READ MORE

BU coach skates to benefit UNH sailing team

(fosters) The University of New Hampshire sailing team will be receiving some much needed support this weekend as it continues to rebuild from the arson fire that destroyed it's boathouse in March. Brad Churchill, coach of the Boston University sailing team is taking part in a "24 Hour Skate for UNH" on Saturday, where he will Rollerblade from his hometown in Boston to the UNH campus on Durham. But serving as master of the articulated tug barge (ATB) has a downside, too, says Brucato. "This is the only job where you not only have to worry about getting up and coming to work in the morning, but on your way you might be taking on water or be on fire and you really don't have any options in that case except to deal with it," he says. Coast Guard admiral: United effort vital for disaster response
